Finding Inspiration in Every Child
Our Mission: In the Woods Music Festival is more than an event—it’s the launch of a movement to change the lives of children who are too often left out, left behind, or growing up in working-poor families. This is our inaugural year, the beginning of a 30-year vision to help grow amazing children into amazing adults who, by age 30, are confident, capable, and contributing to our community.
Why Now: Our window to make a difference is short. The formative years—ages 11 to 18—are when lifelong patterns are set. We aim to “reprint” those patterns, offering new experiences and perspectives during those formative years.
The Power of Camp: One week at camp is good, but a 3–4 year cycle of camp experiences can truly change a life’s trajectory. It builds friendships, confidence, skills, and the belief that “I belong.” This is how we break the cycle of poverty and isolation. The End-of-Summer Celebration: Every child who attends camp through our program—and their family—comes to our In the Woods Festival free of charge. It’s a joyful reunion, renewing friendships and strengthening our growing alumni network.

About Us
At Business as a Force for Good, we believe that companies should serve a greater purpose than profit alone. Guided by the principles of "profit with a purpose"—where success is measured not only by financial return but also by community impact—we work to build businesses that uplift people, strengthen communities, and create lasting value for future generations.

One of our most meaningful projects is the repurposing of the former Seba Beach school, transforming it into SebaHub—a vibrant recreational and community hub. As part of this vision, we will be developing an annual Kids Camp Paradise, a program designed to make camp experiences accessible to all children. For every child who can afford to attend, we provide a free camp experience for a child in need. To help sustain this mission, we have established the Business as a Force for Good Foundation, which is dedicated to raising awareness and support for this project and others that bring opportunity and joy to young people.
